A Month ago someone offered me an imitation of a late renaissance-early
baroque model trombone, made by Fincke in Germany.
No ornaments and varnished (laquered).
The price was good, 350 euro (+/- 300 pounds), it is in a perfect state, no
damage, in a case and with a gold plated modern mouthpiece.
Although I don’t need a trombone (nor for myself, nor for the group), I
thought that other waits might be interested in such an instrument and the
opportunity was too exceptional to let it go.
So I bought the trombone for the benefit of colleagues/friends in “The International Guild
of Town Pipers”.
